WE ARE THE
FIREFLIES

We are a community of cyclists focused on the creative industries. Our mission is to raise funds for cancer research and provide support to those affected by this devastating disease, including individuals who have been diagnosed, as well as their friends and family.

For over 15 years we have organized an annual charity bike ride to raise funds for cancer research and created a community of riders to give the support and encouragement for the riders who want to try and ride over 600 miles in a week.

We believe that with sufficient training, personal commitment, and a positive spirit, anyone can complete a 600-mile bike ride over seven days and raise thousands of dollars. We have helped hundreds of aspiring cyclists accomplish this challenging feat.

OUR RIDERS:
600+ miles over 7 days

Willamette Valley to NAPA Valley

9/27 - 10/3

Every year, we assemble a ‘team’ of returning riders and new recruits. This year over 50 hand picked riders will ride from Eugene, OR to Healdsburg, CA to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for The City of Hope on our annual ride.

We have an amazing new route – both gorgeous and challenging. This year's route will take seven days to complete rather than the typical six. We’re going to be riding through verdant valleys, past rushing rivers, through hushed Redwood forests, over mountains and alongside dramatic, rocky coastline, from Willamette Valley in Oregon to Russian River Valley in California. Oh, and we just might be riding by a few vineyards along the way.

It is going to be epic. Will it be spicy? It will.

Do the riders need your support? Yes they do, click or tap on the link to be taken to our sponsorship page at City of Hope and get your credit card ready.

Raising hope and money
for cancer research.

Each rider is self funded, they pay for everything themselves so every dollar donated goes directly to City of Hope. Since we began our annual ride, we have partnered with City of Hope. We chose them because of their cancer research-based approach, which aims to reduce the gap between laboratory discoveries and treatment. City of Hope also provides support to a diverse community of cancer patients, as well as their friends and family.
